Abstract: |
A two phase archaeological evaluation, involving both desktop survey and trial trenching was carried out. The desktop survey suggested that the area was probably heath or open grazing land in historic times with a conversion to arable at the enclosure period (17th-18th century). The trial trenches revealed features relating to a recent builders' yard, and some shallow ditches, which possibly dated from prehistory. [Au(abr)] |
