Abstract: |
The site lay at the centre of the medieval village of Nettleden, adjacent to the medieval church. Underpinning trenches excavated in the Listed barn and stable revealed layers and possible floors of post-medieval date. An area to the rear of the house was stripped of topsoil and revealed wall footings, possibly relating to a previous barn, however no dateable finds were present. [Au(abr)] |
