Abstract: |
Very few sites or findspots were known on the site. Within the development area isolated prehistoric worked flints were recovered. Early mapping of the development site showed evidence of 19th century barns. Immediate areas beyond the boundary of the site had contained two pits containing pottery of Neolithic or Early Bronze Age date, presumed to have been evidence of a small settlement. There were Grade II Listed Buildings within the vicinity of the site along with field boundaries. [Au(abr)] |
