Abstract: |
This site was the first in Clifford to be investigated archaeologically, other than the castle. Initially this area was thought to lie within the area of medieval occupation of this small medieval market town. However, the only evidence of medieval activity was represented by ploughed-out ridge and furrow, eliminating this area from the town itself.[AIP] |
