The observations revealed evidence of a medieval quayside wall, built in the late 14th/early 15th century, and was dismantled and reconstructed further to the south during, or after, the late 15th/early 16th century. The remains of a probable warehouse dating to the late 16th/early 17th century were also revealed. [AIP] |
