Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during development at Skerbeck Road, Boston. Previous investigations had demonstrated the presence of medieval and post-medieval deposits on the site. However, the watching brief did not reveal any archaeological deposits or features that could be securely dated to these periods. The watching brief identified natural sediments typical of the region, and a ditch or natural channel of uncertain function. The only finds recovered from the site were late 18th-20th century pottery recovered from topsoil. [Au] |
