Abstract: |
A desk-based assessment was undertaken on the proposed road route, running close to the Listed Globe Inn and James Bridge Aqueduct but would not greatly impact them. The route would though cut through two canal embankments. The proposed redevelopment was identified as having a moderately positive affect on the area, due to the degraded character of the site.
