Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out during the excavation of drainage trenches within the grounds of a church which contained 14th century architectural features within its fabric. Two tombs dating to the 18th and 19th centuries were revealed, and the foundations of a building which may have dated from as early as the late medieval period were recorded. Sherds of early and late medieval pottery and fragments of human bone were recovered. [AIP] |
