Abstract: |
Six of the ten test pits contained archaeological deposits. These comprised layers and ditch/pit features. Pottery sherds recovered deposits in three test pits date to the Late Saxon/early medieval period. Considerable quantities of bone displaying butchery marks were also recovered from deposits in six of the test pits. [Au(abr)] |
