Abstract: |
Survey work was carried out at the site of the deserted medieval village of Stainsby. The surviving earthworks were plotted and the site and its modern buildings were photographed. Additional information was added to the survey from air photographs taken before and after the construction of the A19 dual carriageway, which bordered the site to the east. [AIP] |
