Abstract: |
A watching brief on foundation trenches uncovered a broad depression over one metre deep, which had silted up and then been backfilled. This was interpreted as a beast pond possibly attached to a nearby moat. A sandstone fragment from a column was found in the top deposit. [Au(abr)] |
