Abstract: |
The main focus of archaeological interest within the study area was primarliy associated with the settlement and manor of Cricket St Thomas, which potentially dated back to late Saxon times. Because of the emparkment of most of the manor in the 19th century, the earlier topography was difficult to establish. The presence of the medieval manor and associated structures were also noted, but their exact location was unknown. [AIP] |
