Abstract: |
An evaluation at the proposed site of a school gymnasium had revealed an 11th century pit, a 12th century rubbish pit and a 17th-18th century ditch. During a subsequent excavation, residual struck flints and 13th-14th century pottery were recovered. Post-medieval features, including an 18th century garden wall, a ditch and a row of bedding pits, were also revealed. [AIP] |
