Abstract: |
The desk-based archaeological assessment for the proposed development showed that there were no known archaeological remains within the study area. However, the area had never been systematically surveyed and several important archaeological sites were known in the vicinity. The development area was situated within an area of archaeological importance close to known prehistoric, Roman and Anglo-Saxon sites. There was, therefore, the possibility of similar sites within the development area. [Au(adp)] |
