Abstract: |
The monitoring of a series of bore holes associated with the construction of a perimeter security fence recorded variations in the underlying subsoil, but failed to identify any significant archaeological features. The negative findings may have been related to the difficulty of identifying archaeological features from small, widely separated holes, although concentrated archaeological deposits would, in all probability, have shown up.
