Abstract: |
Archaeological monitoring was undertaken on the foundations excavated for the construction of a new classroom. A wide linear feature, which ran roughly north east-south west along the alignment of the existing school building, was identified. A fragment of floor tile was recovered but no ceramic evidence. The uppermost fill of the 'ditch' contained numerous fragments of animal bone. [Au(adp)] |
