Abstract: |
A desk-based assessment was undertaken prior to the proposed demolition and refurbishment of part of Millbrook house. All of the evidence suggested that there was some potential for prehistoric, Roman and Saxon settlement in the area of the site. The cartographic evidence also confirmed that the site was on the western edge of the core of the Saxon and medieval village. [Au(adp)] |
