Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during the construction of an agricultural store. Just to the west of the development was the Car Dyke, a major watercourse of Roman date. Other Romano-British remains had been identified in the parish. The site also lay on the west side of the medieval village and the parish church. Nothing of archaeological significance was revealed.
