Abstract: |
Trial trenching was undertaken on a greenfield site (comprising five fields) prior to residential development. Across much of the site nothing was revealed, except modern drainage features. However a burnt mound, an undated, preserved piece of wood sealed beneath modern tipping; and several linear features, one of which was possibly of ancient date, were uncovered. [Au(abr)] |
