Abstract: |
The work was carried out as part of repair and consolidation of this 16th century farmhouse monument and the extension of the compound that surrounds it. The watching brief revealed that building remains survived in situ below ground, and extended beyond the existing compound surrounding the monument. The standing remains comprised the core walls of the original building with a number of Tudor fireplaces still visible. [Au(abr)] |
