Abstract:		 An archaelogical survey of Whitwell Wood was undertaken to guide future managment of the woods. Features recorded ranged in date from possible Iron Age to post-medieval and modern. It was possible that geological formations within the limestone at the north end of the wood were utilised during the Mesolithic or earlier periods. [Au(abr)]
