Abstract:
The conclusions from the watching brief conducted during the installation of services and a building survey show that for the entire history of the upstanding fabric, the church has had two simple cells- a nave and a chancel. Although the building has suffered much from over-restoration, there were a few hints that the surviving portions of Romanesque masonry were of more than one phase. [Au(adp)]
