Abstract: |
Approximately one metre above the heads of the lucarnes the remains of sockets containing sawn-off timbers remained in the principal faces of the spire. No further timber platforms were apparent above this. Two octagonal 'rings' of steel girders were seen at higher levels in the spire cone. [Au(adp)] |
