Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at the proposed site of an underground storage facility at the National Maritime Museum. Remains of the late medieval Palace of Greenwich were known to exist on the site. Five trenches were excavated, and a number of wall foundations and a metalled surface were recorded. Two robber trenches were also found. A possible drain containing finds which included pottery, animal bone and oyster shell was discovered.[AIP] |
