Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was carried out during groundworks associated with the building of two properties. No evidence of the Saxon burial ground previously recorded to the east was identified, but two Roman features were recorded, consisting of a pit of late 3rd century date and a linear feature dated to between the early 2nd and late 3rd centuries. The function of the features was not determined. [Au(adp)] |
