Abstract: |
The assessment indicated that the site was probably first developed in the early 13th century. It lay within the medieval borough of Crediton on the main street where markets were held. The area may hold evidence of earlier occupation of the site, such as domestic rubbish pits or other cut features and outbuildings within the rear plots.[Au(abr)] |
