Abstract: |
No archaeological remains of significance were recorded at either Sniperley Farm or Carrville Interchange. The evaluation trenches at all three sites recorded evidence of former agricultural use of the land. Remains of ridge and furrow ploughing at Sniperley Farm were interpreted as being of medieval date, whilst those from the other two sites were seemingly of post-medieval origin. Given their likely origin, such remains were considered to be of low archaeological significance. [Au(abr)] |
