Abstract: |
Archaeological observation of a trench excavation exposed several undated stone culverts and a 19th century brick sewer whilst a small number of unstratified medieval and Romano-British pottery sherds were recovered from buried soils. Redeposited and disarticulated human remains with associated medieval pottery were also recovered during the excavations from an area to the south of the palace. [Au(abr)] |
