Abstract:		 An archaeological assessment was carried out on a proposed development site. The assessment identified the potential for late prehistoric and Roman archaeology, with features identified as possibly extending from neighbouring sites. Limekilns were constructed on the site in the 18th century and an associated canal wharf. Clay extraction pits and a brickworks were also present on the site. [Au(adp)]
