Abstract: |
A watching brief was undertaken during the structural repairs to a footbridge, a Grade II Listed Structure. The bridge was thought to date back to the 16th century. Visits were made during the removal and replacement of stonework and brick. The dimensions of the exposed stonework was recorded. The masonry in the upper part of the bridge had been reset at some time between the 17th and 19th centuries. [Au(adp)] |
