Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken upon the excavation of a total of 6 trenches during the widening of the junction of Stonebow Road and Commercial Road. As a result of the excavations a worked stone was recovered which was probably associated with St Cuthlac's Priory. No further features or deposits of archaeological significance were located.
