Abstract: |
An archaeological desktop assessment and air photographic assessment (undertaken by Air Photo Service Ltd) of Cardinal Distribution Park was undertaken. The site lay outside of the urban area of the small Roman town (DVROVIGVTVM), which was characterised by an abundance of archaeological remains spanning the prehistoric, Roman, Anglo-Saxon and medieval periods. No known archaeological remains occured within the area of the site, but several possible Roman skeletons (Cambs SMR 9522, 9902) had been discovered at the periphery of the site. [Au(adp)] |
