Abstract: |
An archaeological desktop study was carried out on the site of a former public swimming pool. The pool building with its associated car-parking area and outdoor ball-court was constructed in the 1970s on land that had been a field of Westmoreland Farm. Documentary and cartographic evidence suggested that the land had probably always been used for arable and pasture. [Au(adp)] |
