Abstract: |
A watching brief on topsoil stripping for the Burghfield Power Station Gas Pipeline, on behalf of Transco encountered only one area of archaeology. A group of medieval features were located to the south of Hartley Court Farm, Shinfield. The medieval features included a boundary ditch, a pit and a well, which were dated by associated pottery to the 11th and 12th centuries. [Au(abr)] |
