Abstract: |
A field evaluation was carried out, comprising a single, hand excavated trench. The natural substrate consisting of a gravel deposit was exposed below the existing ground level. No archaeological deposits were recorded within the surface of this layer. This gravel was sealed by a layer of material producing a single sherd of post-medieval pottery. Overlying this deposit were two layers of construction debris associated with the more recent development of the existing property. [Au(adp)] |
