Ridge and furrow was also identified along the route of the pipeline in this area. Isolated Neolithic axes and worked flint were identified as being recovered close to the route and a potential for prehistoric remains was identified for the route. Roman and Saxon occupation was identified close to the route at Springthorpe and Saxon, medieval and later agricultural activity was identified across most of the route.
