Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation, comprising the excavation of two test pits, was undertaken prior to the proposed construction of a four-storey mixed use office and residential development with basement. No significant archaeological deposits were encountered within the area of the proposed basement. Those identified represented the infilling of quarry pits for the extraction of brickearth clay for industrial purposes. [Au(adp)] |
