Abstract: |
A desk-based study of the site of a disused barracks discovered that there was little of archaeological potential on the site. Two buildings were shown to stand on the site on the 1879 First Edition Ordnance Survey map before the barracks were built late in the 19th century. A Listed chapel and some of the barrack buildings were to be retained within the proposed development. An evaluation was recommended. [AIP] |
