Abstract: |
<summary>A recorded observation was undertaken on five trial-holes excavated prior to development. A number of archaeological features were observed. The negligible quantity of stratified finds meant that none of the features could be dated satisfactorily. However, it was considered reasonable to conclude that the majority of modern finds were associated with topsoil contexts, with all remaining stratigraphy being Roman or immediately post-Roman in origin. {italon}AIP{italoff} |
