Abstract: |
<summary>An evaluation was undertaken on land proposed for a limestone quarry. Two trenches were excavated across a crop mark enclosure site which had been further examined through a geophysical survey. Two parallel ditches, one of which contained a significant quantity of animal bone, two earlier linear features and a shallow sub-circular feature were located in the first trench. The second trench cut a substantial ditch, two linear features and a series of shallow circular and sub-circular features. {italon}AIP{italoff}{spacea} |
