Abstract: |
An evaluation and excavation was carried out on the site. The trial trenching identified a Romano-British farmstead and further features including ditches, pits and cobbled surfaces. The excavation was targeted on the farmstead, which was occupied from the 2nd to 4th century. Pits, ditches, a ring gully, enclosure ditches and a rectangular stock enclosure were identified.
