Abstract: |
A trial trenching evaluation was carried out along the route of a proposed bypass. Twelve key areas of archaeological interest were identified. The sites represented farming settlement and associated activity dating from the the Early/Middle Iron Age to the medieval period. Between these areas, remains dating from the Late Bronze Age/Early Iron Age relating to field boundaries, drainage ditches and plough furrows were identified. [Au(abr)] |
