Abstract:
A watching brief was carried out during the excavation of engineering test-pits at the proposed site of an extension to a building. A small number of post-medieval artefacts were recovered, including two fragments of clay pipe stem and a piece of brick which may have dated from before 1800. No archaeological features and no deposits likely to pre-date the 17th century were observed. [Au(abr)]
