Abstract: |
A desk based assessment and observance of geotechnical test-pits revealed little of archaeological interest. Well preserved ridge and furrow features were observed in the northern and western areas of the site, with associatedd ditches possibly representing former droveways. Owing to the proximity of a medieval village, the potential disturbance of archaeological deposits during development was considered to be moderate. Trial trenches and earthwork recording were recommended. [Au(AIP)] |
