Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation comprising three trial trenches was carried out in the gardens of a modern bungalow built partly on the site of a medieval manor house. Two of the trenches revealed only backfill material, some of which may have been derived from demolition of the Manor House. However, the third trench contained wall footings thought to form the south-western corner of the former Manor House. [Au] |
