Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out during groundworks for an extension to a medieval Grade II* Listed Building which formed an element of the outbuildings of Stanlawe Grange, a former monastic grange. The watching brief, which monitored a relatively small area, recorded a small number of undated features, which could have related to medieval occupation. A concentration of post-medieval pottery suggested the location of a disturbed pit. [AIP] |
