Abstract: |
Approximately 150m to the north of the parish church a section of wall footing was identified after the removal of topsoil from the corridor. No bonding material between the blocks was observed. A narrow gap in the line of stones may have been an entrance. A single rim sherd of a medieval bowl was recovered from the surface of the natural 0.15m to the north of the wall footing. No further deposits were recorded. [Au(adp)] |
