Abstract: |
Six trenches were excavated, three in Area A, three in Area B, each measuring 30m x 6m. In the northwest of Area A an undated feature, possibly a large pit or ditch was truncated by an east-west aligned ditch that produced Late Bronze Age/Early Iron Age and medieval pottery. Post-medieval field drains were also present. In Area B an alluvium/colluvium filled 'dry' valley ran through the area but no archaeological artefacts or deposits were identified. [Au(adp)] |
