Abstract: |
The assessment suggested that there was no known early activity within the proposed development area. The results of a trial metal detector survey, geophysical survey and air photographic assessment confirmed this. Within the vicinity of the development area lay the route of Roman road 721. The site also lay close to the site of the Battle of Adwalton Moor which took place on 30th June 1643. [AIP] |
