Abstract: |
A scheme of archaeological works was undertaken in advance of the extension of the existing quarry. A programme of test pitting recovered little evidence for significant prehistoric activity in the area. Features identified during the watching briefs were all associated with post-medieval quarrying and field divisions. A hollow-way had been identified as a natural landscape feature. [Au] |
